If Zillow did 28mm houses this one would be sold already, Dungeon Artifacts strikes again

this one I got over the counter at Michigan Toy Soldier so I'm not sure what they refer to it as on the Dungeon Artifacts website, I chose to paint it as an Italian style villa in warm colors and a red tile roof

I would likely kill for a double-decker porch like that!
again the ultra-precise printing provides a perfect fit of the parts

this one was primed with Krylon Khaki Camouflage  from a spray can
this provides a dead flat surface to paint onto as a nice warm tone to work up from
the rest of the paint is Americana craft paint

the roof was started with a deep maroon color and given progressively
lighter dry-brushings of color working up to a bright brick-red, almost an orange

I'm not entirely happy with the green, I based coated it with Dark Hauser Green
then dry-brushed the structure with Light Hauser green to highlight the wood grain
but it looks uneven, this model will likely end up on a base to protect the pillars of the veranda

the wooden floor was just Dark Brown dry-brushed with Honey Brown

the tiled floor was base coated in Storm Gray and dry-brushed with Boulder
it worked out pretty well

the layers stack neatly

each layer locks into the one above by these tiny pyramids on each corner

they tuck into a corresponding hole in the upper floor providing a very effective lock, floors won't go askew during play if the model is bumped and I don't have to fiddle with those horrid tiny magnets to get things to stay joined together

Another brilliant foray from the good folks at Dungeon Artifacts. I deeply wish that 3D printing had been around when I started gaming. The quality and price of these items is so much better than the stuff we struggled with just a few years ago!

       Very Highly Recommended!!!!
