8 x 10 Full Color Photographs of Flintcon 2025!

Without circles or arrows, but with brief explanations underneath them!  (there is no prize if you get the reference)

Free Blades

Here is a Rollicking game of Free Blades, they are always fun games and the people running it are very into their game.

Last Samurai

Here is a round of "the Last Samurai" with beautiful miniatures and magnificent brush work.

World of Tanks

World of Tanks graces the next table, one of the games where getting your tank blown up gets you a better tank to play with.

Battle for Ukraine

Table Four was running "Battle for Ukraine" they have an interesting method of incorporating the drones.

 Gunfighter's Ball

Table Five saw the always fun Wild West Gunfighters Ball, usually with cattle stampede, but alas I did not see it this time.

Flights of Fantasy

Table Six was offering "Flights of Fantasy"  However, it did not draw a crowd and was run as a demo by the enterprising GM.

Oak and Iron

Table Seven saw the beautiful ships of "Oak & Iron", shivering the timbers across the Main.

Apache Dawn

Table Eight saw the always amazing "54mm man" running Apache Dawn.  I noticed a bunch of pioneer women folk carry "iron" but did not see if they got into the game.

Bag the Hun

Table Nine saw a brilliant game of "Bag the Hun" in which lovely bush work Japanese and American flyers were blazing across the Pacific sky.  I particularly enjoyed seeing the "Rufe" float plane fighter represented in the scenario.

Wastelands

Table Ten saw the "Wastelands" car race game screaming through the Outback.  In the end the forces of "law and order" would win out.

beautiful models, innovative movement system and hilarious cinematic results

Star Wars

Table Eleven saw a Star Wars Fleet Battle taking place.

Battletech Alpha Strike

Table 'a Dozen' (shout out to our friend 'Loups' in Colorado) saw Battle Tech Alpha Strike with Clan Kurita, doing the usual Clan Kurita thing and hiding in a City.

Triumph, the battle of Hydaspes

Table Thirteen Saw The host Rod Cain's Triumph rules on display for the battle of Hydaspes, GO PORUS!  No favoritism here.

Pathfinder RPG

There was also a separate room with three different games of Pathfinder running simultaneously.

Red Baron, WW1 Air Combat

Plus another room with an energetic game of Red Baron ranging about.

Boardgaming

There was also a room for board games ... although it was not used to my knowledge.

And that was ONLY the First Session!!

All thanks to our intrepid reporter Housemartin (the editor-in-chief was busy playing games). I also played in the second session but managed to snap some photos of a few of the games in the second session.

Battle of Bull Run, Black Powder

nicely painted minis on superbly sculpted terrain

this looks like the illustrations from old Time/Life civil war books

Dorylaeum, Triumph rules

suitably dry and dusty-looking

Another great little con. All credit to the indefatigable Rod Caine who is a one-person dynamo running this show. The Flea Market was great as usual (I broke my oath of not buying any minis, in my defense the ones that I bought were already painted so they don't add to the backlog).
