Well here they are, and mighty nice figures they be indeed! Everybody with a 28mm Prussian army can now finally afford the mobs of Landwehr that they need for the 1813/14 campaigns. I highly recommend these.
An overall look at the box & contents. Warlord did a nice packaging job, the sprues are separated by squares of cardboard and seal in a plastic bag, the metal command figs are their own ziplock bag. The box has basic painting instructions on the back.
My only regret is that there are only three poses. The sculpts are superb, detail crisp and proportions are spot on.
Rear view, the kit hangs on the figure in a very convincing way.
The command figure come in metal, the detail is better that it looks here, I didn't have time to prime them. I do like the sharp (as in really sharp!) wire provided for the flagstaff.
I purchased these from Michigan Toy Soldier Shop in Royal Oak MI. Their website is; http://www.michtoy.com/
