I just found out that the folks at Pro or Con have made the decision to return to the convention circuit on 2OCT21. A jolly good time was had at the last one I attended so I'm looking forward to seeing old friends in person once more!
The sign-up is being handled through Table Top Games which will have a full list of games and times.

ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see how many people show up and what kind of mood people are in as far as buying and selling at the flea market. I have a feeling there will be a ton of people selling stuff and not a lot of buyers. What are your views on that?

Well, it could go either way. Folks have been away from face-to-face gaming for far too long so there may be a rush to unburden themselves of the dreaded "Lead Mountain".......on the other hand there may be a significant pent-up demand which sees players indulging after being away from the market for so long.
DeleteI think it will be on the higher sales side. Resellers like Noble Knight Games and Miniature Market seem to be selling second hand stuff like crazy. The lists they send out of what they are desperate to get and paying "premium" to buy is impressively long. I was stunned recently when they sent out a special email looking for old D&D stuff. I thought that the new 5th edition had slain the older variants, but maybe it is "collectors"?
